Police searched near UC after possible tiger sighting in Cincinnati

Cincinnati police confirm they launched a search for a tiger early Monday after receiving calls that a tiger may be on the loose in the Clifton area.

No tigers have been spotted since the report came in around 3 a.m. and the two tigers at the Cincinnati Zoo have been found, police said.

Multiple Cincinnati Police and University of Cincinnati officers responded to Burnet Woods near Burnet Woods Drive at Brookline Avenue in the areas along Martin Luther King Drive and Crosley Tower.

The officers were ordered to stay in their patrol cars. And drones were deployed to facilitate the search, police confirm.
