2-year-old child apparently drowned

Massachusetts State Police and Brockton police are investigating the apparent drowning of a 2-year-old boy, Plymouth County Prosecutor Timothy J. Cruz said. Around 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning, Brockton Police received a 911 call for a report that a 2-year-old boy was found unresponsive in an above-ground pool at 111 Ardsley Circle. Police and emergency personnel responded and transported the male victim to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was clearly dead. He has not been identified at this time. The incident remains under investigation by MSP and Brockton Police.
