Second suspect arrested in road rage brawl at LAX that knocked innocent woman unconscious

LOS ANGELES (KABC)– Los Angeles police have tracked down and arrested the second of two men allegedly involved in a road rage incident at LAX that knocked out an innocent woman.

On Friday, the LAPD announced the arrest of 38-year-old Jasan Givens, Sr.. He was located around 10 a.m. Friday in the area of ​​Western and West Florence avenues and taken into custody without incident. Givens was booked on a charge of battery, with bail set at $50,000.

The other man allegedly involved in the incident turned himself in earlier this week.

The May 31 fight was filmed by a security camera.

The two men fight and one runs after the other near the curbside check-in point. They hit the woman who was checking her luggage and knocked her down. She appears to be banging her head against the ground.

“The two individuals struck the elderly woman, causing her to fall to the ground and lose consciousness,” police said.

The two suspects continued to fight on the ground as the woman lay unconscious next to them.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but has since been released, according to the LAPD. Police said the woman was doing better and appeared to be in good spirits.

LAPD said the second man involved in the fight, who was seen in the video without a shirt, turned himself in Monday. Both suspects face a charge of assault and battery.
