Woman attacked by stray dogs dies from injuries, Baltimore police say

VERY HORRIFIC. ANDRE. Deb, we know two people were injured. A woman was killed and a dog attacked right here in West Baltimore. Right up there in that alley. It’s pretty close to that white house and maybe a little hard to see. But we learned tonight from Baltimore police that two of the dogs, the two dogs involved in this, were pit bull dogs. NOW A POLICE HELICOPTER WITH A SPOTLIGHT. Several Baltimore police officers took over this area here on North Pulaski Street in West Baltimore, sitting for about an hour looking for these dogs, looking for these dogs. At that time, police say it was on this street around 9 o’clock tonight, two stray pit bulls attacked and killed a 50 year old woman and again, we know two other people were injured as well. The police told me they believed these two people had or. EXCUSE ME, DON’T HAVE ANY LITTLE INJURIES. So their injuries are not life-threatening, that’s what police believe. THIS EVENING WE HAD THE CHANCE TO SPEAK WITH A FEW NEIGHBORS IN THE AREA WHO JUST TOLD US THEY CAN’T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED HERE, IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY. It’s a problem in the city, you know, with people having their dogs off leash. BUT A PIECE OF DOGS? NEVER. I’ve never seen a pack of dogs roaming the city. I DON’T KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED. And just for clarity, we’re back here live at the scene where police are still in Brandy. THERE. A NEIGHBOR WAS SPEAKING TO US EARLIER WHEN THE POLICE ORIGINALLY SAID IT WAS A GROUP OF DOGS. BUT TONIGHT, ONCE AGAIN, WE HAVE LEARNED FROM THE POLICE AN UPDATE ON STRAY PIT BULL DOGS. As for these dogs, we know that officers shot one of them. THE OTHER WAS DETAINED SHORTLY LATER AND WILL NOW GO TO ANIMAL CONTRO
