Times Square stabbing attack: man injured with machete on Broadway and 45th Street in New York

TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (WABC) — A man was stabbed with a machine in Times Square Thursday afternoon.

It happened on West 45th Street and Broadway around 1 p.m.

The unidentified victim was stabbed in both legs and was transported by EMS to Bellevue Hospital. She would be stable.

Police say at least three suspects fled in an unknown direction.

Several people were arrested in the area of ​​Sixth Avenue, West 52nd Street and 660 Fifth Avenue.

Investigators say the stabbing was the result of an apparent dispute between merchandise sellers in the Times Square area.
