Police were investigating a mass shooting in Akron, Ohio, on Sunday that injured at least 26 people and killed one man.
Authorities said the shooting in southeast Akron happened after midnight. Witnesses and police said a street party took place in the neighborhood before the shooting, but investigators have not yet released a motive, according to WEWS-TV.
Police said they received several 911 calls about the shooting and that many of the victims arrived at the hospital via private vehicles. WEWS, citing police, said the man killed was 27 years old.
