Highway collapsed in Wyoming after landslide

A landslide caused the collapse of a major road in Teton Pass, Wyoming on Saturday (June 8).

The Wyoming Department of Transportation responded last week to reports of a crack in some areas of the road.

Authorities repaired the affected sections, but mudslides in other areas forced the complete closure of the highway. As workers attempted to construct a detour, the landslide continued to advance and led to the complete collapse of the highway, a key artery between Idaho and Wyoming.
